Cosa hanno in comune Kristen Stewart e Miley Cyrus? Niente, se non l’essere state scelte come testimonial di due grandi case di moda: Chanel e Marc Jacobs.
Ne ho lette e sentite tante su Kristen Stewart, di quanto fosse inadatta al ruolo, inadeguata, senza stile. Curiosando nella blogosfera ho perfino trovato un sito che la metteva a paragone con la modella che in passerella indossava lo stesso completo dell’attrice alla presentazione della collezione Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas (Pre-Fall 2014-2015), per mostrare con quanta goffaggine l’attrice interpretasse un outfit che sulla modella appariva perfetto. Ad onor del vero la differenza era notevole e non è mistero che la Stewart non sia un’ icona di stile. Il 90% delle sue scelte, sia che si tratti del Red Carpet o di una passeggiata informale, sono tutte o quasi totalmente sbagliate.
Eppure io la vedo, mi piace, è semplice, garbata, ha quell’ allure di mistero e semplicità che la rende la ragazza della porta accanto, solo più timida e schiva. Ha un eleganza silenziosa, delicata, anche quando pur potendo scegliere fra migliaia di vestiti, sceglie il più brutto e si lancia “suicida” in pasto ai fotografi. Non è stilosa, non è raffinata, è solo (e non è poco) delicatamente semplice. E la delicatezza non si acquisisce, è innata. Quindi, sarò impopolare, ma la scelta di Chanel per me è azzeccata. Kristen Stewart deve migliorare, sgrezzare, deve “alzare le spalle”, per esempio (la raccomandazione più ripetuta da mia madre in 30 della mia vita), darsi un tono, uscire dal guscio del brutto anatroccolo e sentirsi un cigno. Che poi, chi l’ha detto che Calimero, una volta diventato il bellissimo cigno, fosse davvero felice e a suo agio?
Se Kristen Stewart è la “Madonna” della semplicità, Miley Cyrus ne è l’AntiCristo. Scegliendola come testimonial del suo brand per la campagna SS 2014, Marc Jacobs ha reso contenti tutti gli osannatori ed esaltati fans della ragazza che i miei amici chiamano “ il martello”, per la sua ormai famosissima ed invidiatissima (certo come no) capacità nel leccare attrezzi improbabili. Scelta azzeccata? Ma quando mai! La Cyrus avrà anche un suo stile, il naked forse, è sempre ingioiellata agghindata dalla testa ai piedi, il suo street style è buono ma soprattutto migliore di quello delle cosiddette “grandi occasioni”, ma a livello di immagine è un fiasco totale. Non basta far parlare di sé, non serve far gridare allo scandalo, soprattutto se si ha talento (e lei ne ha), per diventare qualcuno. E’ sicuramente la strada più veloce ma se poi si hanno più haters che estimatori il risultato cambia e non poco. Cambia la stima che la gente ha di te, come nel caso del fotografo di Marc Jacobs, Juergen Teller, che pare si sia rifiutato di fotografarla lasciando il compito a David Sims. Scelta da me totalmente condivisa. Quella della Cyrus è un’immagine volgare, che supera di gran lunga i limiti del trash, è l’idea di chi per arrivare dovrà scandalizzare sempre più della volta prima. E’ l’immagine della trasgressione artefatta, del costruito ad ogni costo. Il lato peggiore dello stile, insomma.
Le mie conclusioni? Promossi Chanel e l’attrice Kristen Stewart che ha un buon potenziale e ottimi margini di miglioramento. Bocciati Marc Jacobs e Miley Cyrus, collaborazione che farà parlare di sè, ma che non guadagna nulla a livello di immagine.

I’ve read and heard so much about Kristen Stewart, that she was unsuited to the role , inadequate, without style . Browsing around the blogosphere I even found a website that put it her in comparison with the model who wore the same suit on the runway to show how the actress was clumsiness to interpret an outfit that looked great on the model . To be fair , the difference was important and it is not a secret that Stewart is not an icon style. 90% of her choices , on the Red Carpet or in casual style, all or almost is totally wrong .
But I like her , she is simple , graceful , she has an allure of mystery and simplicity that makes her like the next door girl, just more timid and shy . she has a quiet elegance , delicate , even when while, being able to choose between thousands of dresses , she choose the ugliest and go” suicide ” at the mercy of the photographers. She is not stylish or with great taste, she is only simple gently . And the delicacy is not acquired , it is innate . So , I will be unpopular , but the choice of Chanel for me is good. Kristen Stewart needs to improve , she should ” shrug ” for example ( the most repeated recommendation from my mother in 30 of my life) , give herself a tone , get out there and stop to feel the ugly duckling and feel like a swan. What then, who said that Calimero , once it becomes the beautiful swan. was really happy and at ease ?
If Kristen Stewart is the “Madonna” of simplicity , Miley Cyrus it is the Antichrist . Choosing her as the face of his brand campaign for SS 2014, Marc Jacobs has made everyone happy and excited fans for the girl that my friends call ” the hammer” for her now famous and envied ( not sure how ) ability to lick tools unlikely. Good choice ? My God, no! Cyrus will also have her own style, perhaps naked , bejeweled and always decked out, her street style is good but mostly better than the so-called ” special occasions ” , but in terms of image is a total “NO”. Do not just be talked about , no need to kick up a fuss , especially if you have talent ( and she has ) , to become somebody. It ‘s definitely the fastest way , but then if you have more haters than fans the result changes. Change estimates that people have of you, as in the case of the photographer of Marc Jacobs , Juergen Teller, who seems to have refused to photograph her leaving the task to David Sims. Chosen by me totally shared . Cyrus is vulgar ,trash,she is the idea of who will scandalize to get more and more of the time before. And she is the image of the transgression artificial, constructed of at all costs. The downside of the style , in fact.
My conclusions? Promoted Chanel and actress Kristen Stewart has good potential and great room for improvement. Rejected Marc Jacobs and Miley Cyrus.
