Marvin Gaye...and get it on?

Mi ricordo che una sera parlavamo di cose serie, io e Matteo, dell'anniversario della nascita di Freddie Mercury e di pubblicare qualcosa per festeggiare l'evento. Una conversazione impegnata, insomma, di quelle in cui si parla di musica con gli attributi, mica di quelle canzonette di oggi senza una storia vera da raccontare. Poi improvvisamente la mia svampitezza ha preso il sopravvento ma, conoscendomi, la cosa non l'ha stupito affatto. Così quando ho detto: "dal sacro al profano, Matty che ne dici di "Marvin Gaye" di Charlie Phut? Io la adoro!" rcco cosa ne è uscito fuori:

"Impossibile non adorarla, ha tutti i clichè possibili, video compreso. Festa scolastica americana, lui che sembra il fratellino di John Travolta in Grease, pianoforte costante che suona "plìn, plìn, plìn, plìn, e ricorda la Motown (etichetta discografica) -  e quindi Marvin Gaye - . Tempo dimezzato quando attacca Meghan Trainor, tenuto da una batteria elettronica, onnipresente in ogni album da almeno 2 anni a questa parte. Poi il ritornello, che recita "Let's Marvin Gaye and get it on" che anche un metallaro si fermerebbe ad ascoltare cosa cavolo stanno provando a dire quei due che tirano in ballo il Sig. Gaye.

Per poi scoprire che, in pratica, "l'effetto Marvin" è una scusa per finire in una mega orgia dove tutti vanno con tutti (a parte due elementi che vanno a far l'amore in macchina, marchetta alla Fiat 500 inclusa, mettendo su una scena che neppure in Titanic, rendendo tutto ancora più surreale). In sostanza è una canzone appiccicosa sotto ogni aspetto, una "cheesy song" direbbero gli inglesi, che non puoi fare a meno di fischiettare" Come ha concluso? " la adoro anch'io"!
